Gulu University and Lacor Hospital have on February 26, 2024 put ink to paper to collaborate in training and resources for students pursuing various disciplines in Biosystems Engineering.
The agreement will promote research and training activities between the two institutions, which include, but not limited to energy systems, environmental and water management as well as promote industrial collaboration and offer practical experience to students.
Others include study field visit and industrial training attachment, undergraduate final year project and graduate research (MSc and PhD) over selected subjects.
Each party shall be responsible for the funding of its own participation in the agreement.
Present for the signing of the MoU was the hospital’s Institutional Director, Dr. Martin Ogwang, Jacopo Barbieri, the head of Technical Service Department as well as the Head of Biosystems Engineering Department at Gulu University.
