This day was not just a testament to the passage of time but a reflection of dedication to healthcare and community service.
Lacor Health Center III – Pabbo, which began in 1974 as a humble and modest dispensary has grown into a beacon of hope for those far and near. From its early days, the canter has been a cornerstone of St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor’s mission to provide quality, affordable, and sustainable healthcare to the needy, regardless of their background or financial status.

He vividly made it clear that just as tributaries feed the mighty river and enrich it with unique contributions, so too have countless individuals and efforts flowed into the success of the health center.
“Each person, each act of kindness, and each moment of dedication we honor, not just the 50 years. We happily adorn every staff member, volunteer, and community supporter whose collective efforts have nurtured and sustained the health center,” he said.

The time travel from 1974 to 2024 wasn’t a smooth one all the way. It was a bumpy journey. The sorry states of the road to the health facility and the Lord’s Resistant Army insurgency brought unimaginable sufferings to the region. Pabbo, like many other areas, was deeply affected by violence and instability. Through it all, Lacor Health Center III Pabbo remained a pillar of support and it is in these turbulent moments that it is worth reflecting on every ties of the past 50 years to the facility.
As we celebrate this golden jubilee, we also look to the future with hope and determination, the challenges of the past strengthen us to continue serving the community.
