CALL FOR ADMISSION TO THE HEALTH TRAINING INSTITUTE
The management of St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor Health Training Institute hereby invites applications from suitably qualified persons of both “O” & “A” levels for admission in the following courses for the academic year 2022/2023, January 2023 intake.
Diploma Courses |
Minimum Entry Qualification |

Midwifery Nursing Laboratory |
Certificate in the respective course applied for Registered with a Professional body Must have worked for at least 2 years as a nurse/midwife Principle pass in Biology & subsidiary in Chemistry for direct entry for Laboratory. |
Higher Diploma Course |
Minimum Entry Qualification |
| Anaesthesia | Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery or Clinical Officer |
Certificate courses |
Minimum Entry Qualification |

Midwifery Nursing Theatre Techniques Laboratory Techniques |
Passes in English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics Must be 18 Years and above |
In the case of students who had their secondary education outside Uganda, their papers should be taken to be equated from Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB).
Application forms can be picked up from the office of the Academic Registrar upon payment of UGX 40, 000/= for certificate courses and UGX 50,000/= for diploma courses or downloaded HERE. The payment caters for the application form and interviews.
Dateline for returning the form will be on Friday 11/11/2022 and the interview is scheduled for Monday 14/11/2022 starting at 8.00 am on the school campus.
There is no interview for Diploma in anaesthesia but the admission fee is UGX 60,000/=
Duly filled forms should be hand-delivered to the Training Institute during office hours on weekdays.
